Our 3x5' Barbados international flags are made from high grade nylon material. The nylon is manufactured to withstand the elements. Each flag is fully dyed for great ink penetration and finished with a standard canvas heading and brass grommets. Adopted in 1966, the flag of Barbados is made up of three vertical blue and gold stripes of equal size. In the middle, the gold stripe features a black trident with three barbed points representing the principles of democracy: government of, for, and by the people. The ultramarine color in the flag symbolizes the sea and the sky, while the gold represents the sands of the island.
